Notes & Combos

This deck is very oppressive and insanely cheap. It took me about 45 total wins to hit KoG, including a 13 win streak at the end at could've possibly been 20+ if not for an earlier skill misclick. A good portion of my wins were instant scoops.

The deck also surprising does well going second. Faris + 3x Mali + Denier + Cross Crusader can exhaust boards by recyling material. Don't be afraid to use Doom Lord, who can activate twice thanks to Crusader.

This is based on the earlier list from strawberrytoast._.

If I had the cards, I would change the following:

  • Remove 1x Poly and replace with Wonder Driver (which recycles Poly from the grave). This is more consistant.
  • Replace Escuardio with Sunrise or Adoration (better Poly targets to dump Liquid Soldier)
  • Consider replacing Nib with Sphere (or run both)
  • Replace Dogma + Dragoon with other cards (they never came up). Dynatag might be useful.

Blizzard is good, but not crucial. Same with Nib. Typhon also never came up. Dreadmaster makes the turn 1 more resilient, but Wonder Driver is much much better; prioritize the latter with your SR Dream Tickets.

Sample Turn 1 Combo Lock:

  • Return Vyon or Increase if they're in your opening hand.
  • Search for Fusion Destiny, Faris, Mali, hero fodder (depending on what you're missing).
  • Special Faris (ideally dump Mali), Summon Vyon (dump hero, banish Faris for Poly), Set and Summon Increase.
  • Link into Crusader, Summon and Tribute Mali for Stratos.
  • Summon Stratos and search for Liquid.
  • Fusion Destiny into Dominance.
  • Ensure Drawhand is in the grave.
  • When you have 5 cards left in your deck, use Dom to put Droll and Deterrence at the top.
  • Fusion using Liquid, set Deterrence.
  • Toggle on: Standby -> Summon Drawhand and activate effect. Once effect resolves, activate Deterrence and chain Droll.

Note that Droll can get blocked if your opponent chains Droplet to Deterrence.
