Notes & Combos
I am using the same Avaricious Gradius list as everyone else with 3 copies of Star Protector's Protection as my trap of choice. It's silly that a Rush deck exists where it's optimal to not run any Limit 1 cards, but it seems like that's just how it is. I like Compulse when it goes off, but it kept getting sniped over and over by backrow removal before it could hit a juicy target so I ended up cutting it. Protection is clearly the best trap in the game right now, any deck that can run a set of it automatically has a much better matchup against Voidvelg and Gradius as well as being a reliable going first survival tool against basically everything. It's less potent against Heroes and Alchemy decks since they can OTK you in one attack.
